Gateway is an intelligent, performant and configurable LoRaWAN device for smart IoT applications. It connects sensors & controllers to the network server on the cloud. It is a open source single channel Long Range Wide Area Network Gateway, allowing users to send data and reach extremely long ranges.

cultYvate Field Controller uses the latest IoT technology providing ultimate control of connected devices and to achieve the maximum efficiency required for on-field automation success.

It collects data from soil moisture sensors and facilitate execution of irrigation automatically by opening/closing the valves as per the irrigation command received by gateway.

It is powered by a battery charged by solar panel and is inbuilt with internal antenna for communication with gateway.

Solenoid Valve

Solenoid valves are electrically activated valves, typically used to control the flow of water in cultYvate IoT systems. It serves the purpose of removing the need for an engineer to operate a valve manually.

Solenoids operate using an electromagnetic solenoid coil to change the state of a valve from open to closed, or vice-versa.

Built with enough durability to handle the rigors of commercial sites, these valves are virtually indestructible. This model feature durable high-grade construction and a rugged diaphragm with support to prevent stress failure.

Water Meter – Hall effect sensor

Accurate flow measurement is an essential step both in the terms of qualitative and economic points of view.

This sensor sits in line with the water line and contains a pinwheel sensor to measure how much water has moved through it. There is an integrated magnetic Hall-Effect sensor that outputs an electrical pulse with every revolution.

The compact sensor can be inserted directly into the growing medium with minimal disturbance to roots or shoots.

The Soil Moisture Sensor Module determines the amount of soil moisture by measuring the resistance between two metallic probes that is inserted into the soil to be monitored.

This is used to signal irrigation alert when a plant needs watering.

pH Sensor

pH sensor is for an uncomplicated measurement in water is built with a industrial pH electrode in a 43 mm design that can be used in a variety of PH measurements with fast response and excellent thermal stability.

The sensor is designed with a membrane which prevents clogging and makes the electrode suitable for long-term online detection.
